Charactère wijn komt uit het mooiste wijngebied van Duitsland. Recht tegenover de Elzas ligt namelijk de Pfalz. Enkele wijngaarden liggen letterlijk in de Elzas, maar horen na de herverdeling van gronden na de 2de wereldoorlog weer bij Duitsland.

At the direct opposite from the Alsace is the Pfalz. Some vineyards are literally in Alsace, but belong to Germany again after the redistribution of land after the 2nd World War.
